CLASTUDIO

When I was in college, I was taking Economics as my major. I never thought that all lifestyle-related stuff will take my attention that much after. I never thought that fashion, especially, would be the thing that makes me happy just to think of it. Then, I have a dream to work my dream, I mean literally to walk the dream, do what I want and what makes me happy. Of course, obstacles come and go. I am not really good at making new relationship with people, in other words I have difficulties in dealing with people (but I have to since my job now is all about dealing lol). I mean, building a brand is not an easy job. If we want people know our brand, it is better that we know more people. I still believe that word of mouth is the best marketing strategy ever. Just the way is changed, like social media is the platform. Through social media, they talked. And that is one kind of word of mouth.

Anyways, finally I have chance to try. I open my own brand, CLASTUDIO. There are many ideas for this brand, but for the first and opening collection, I choose the basic first. I create basic outfits women at least must have. I love basic, I admire simplicity,  and I love wearing an outfit that I feel comfortable with, so CLASTUDIO is the reflection of it. I am the kind of person who really concerns about quality, so I, myself, do the quality control and check every single detail of my collection. Every piece.

I know that it won't be easy to build a brand (since I am nobody ;p) but at least I do what I want to do. I will do my best for this, and pray that this will work. I don't want to have plan B for this (I don't know if I will need that later). There are many sacrifices sometimes (maybe, I don't think so) to go back one step to make a big leap. I think I am now taking that one step back.

School of Grazia x ESMOD Jakarta

I was joining an event called School of Grazia  x ESMOD Jakarta, a seminar talking about PR, Retail Business, and the importance of Media in Fashion world.
